Inside a Luxury Multimillion-Pound Marbella Villa Designed by Harper Charles
Harper Charles is a luxury interior design practice specialising in full turnkey interiors for prime private residences, serving UHNW clients worldwide from the UK and Dubai. The company is particularly known for designing hotel-inspired master suites and luxury bedroom interiors within private homes.
Set against the quiet hills of Marbella, Casa En El Sol was designed as a home defined by calm, materiality and atmosphere.
The project forms part of our exclusive handcrafted villa collection for 2024 - a series of interiors inspired by the idea of quiet luxury and the slower rhythm of Mediterranean living.
Throughout the villa, a restrained palette of natural materials creates a sense of warmth and balance. Sand-stained joinery, soft neutral upholstery and carefully selected marble surfaces sit alongside subtle accents of sage green, reflecting the tones of the surrounding landscape.
Each piece within the interior was designed specifically for the residence and handcrafted in London before being installed in Spain.
Within the main living space, the Soleda Media Unit anchors the room. Formed from Calacatta silk tile and centred around a Planika fireplace, the piece introduces a strong architectural presence while remaining understated in tone.
Nearby, the Palmera L-Shaped Sofa creates a relaxed seating environment tailored to the villa lifestyle. Upholstered in oyster and ivory tones with subtle sage accents, the sofa was designed to feel both comfortable and composed - equally suited to quiet evenings or entertaining guests.
Furniture pieces throughout the villa follow the same language. Oak veneer joinery, marble surfaces and brushed brass detailing appear across coffee tables, accent pieces and seating, creating continuity from room to room.
The dressing areas were approached with the same level of consideration.
Custom wardrobes, dressing islands and display cabinets were developed as architectural features rather than simple storage. Reeded panelling, bronze detailing and softly integrated LED lighting allow these spaces to feel both practical and refined.
In the master bedroom, the Sueño Bed acts as the centrepiece of the suite. A curved oak headboard with integrated lighting introduces a soft architectural frame, while upholstered panels and neutral textiles maintain the calm, restful atmosphere that defines the room.
Across the villa, every element was designed to feel cohesive - materials, proportions and craftsmanship working together to create an interior that feels both personal and timeless.
Casa En El Sol reflects the essence of what many clients seek in a Mediterranean residence: a home that feels calm, considered and quietly luxurious.
