Our Interior Design Process
Every project begins with a private consultation call, allowing us to understand your vision, lifestyle, spatial requirements, and align on an expected level of investment for the project.
Phase 1 - The Brief
Bespoke mood boards, curated palettes and considered spatial layouts establish the design direction, refined through a private site consultation and aligned investment framework.
Phase 2 - Design Development
Custom joinery and furniture designs are developed alongside architectural detailing, finishes and furnishings - supported by 2D drawings, comprehensive costings and photorealistic 3D visualisations.
Phase 3 - Presentation
Final CGI visuals, elevations and material palettes are presented for approval, alongside a complete cost summary - ready for manufacture.
Phase 4 - Technical Development
Our Project Management team leads detailed site surveys, technical drawings and scheduling, ensuring every bespoke element is resolved and approved for production.
Phase 5 - Manufacturing & Site Preparation
Approved pieces enter production while site works commence, preparing the space for installation.
Final Phase - Delivery & Completion
Installation, styling and final handover of the completed project.
One-of-One Pieces
Bespoke design sits at the centre of every Harper Charles interior. Handcrafted in the UK and shaped through material exploration and sculptural study, each one-of-one piece is designed to exist in harmony with carefully sourced elements.
Built on years of combined experience across upholstery, joinery and finishing, a depth of craftsmanship knowledge shapes every decision we make. This understanding informs how pieces are designed, specified and placed within our interiors, ensuring beauty is matched by integrity, performance and longevity.
It is this unseen luxury - the expertise beneath the surface - that defines the Harper Charles standard.
