Designing a private home is a process that unfolds gradually. Each stage builds on the last, allowing the interior to evolve from an early idea into a fully realised space.
Full turnkey interior design brings every part of that journey under one team. From the earliest design concepts through to manufacturing and final installation, the entire process is managed as one cohesive project.
Every Harper Charles project begins with a private consultation. This allows us to understand the architecture of the home, the way the client lives within it, and the atmosphere they would like the space to hold.
From there, the design direction begins to take shape.
In the early stages of the process, we develop bespoke mood boards, material palettes and spatial layouts that define the design language of the project. These initial concepts establish how the home will feel - from the materials used to the way light moves through the space.
As the design develops, the focus shifts to detail. Bespoke joinery, furniture and architectural elements are carefully drawn and refined. Materials are selected, finishes are explored and photorealistic visualisations allow the client to see the design taking form.
Once the design has been fully resolved, the project moves into technical development. Detailed drawings are produced, site surveys take place and every bespoke element is prepared for manufacture.
Production and site preparation follow. Furniture, joinery and architectural elements are handcrafted through a network of specialist workshops while the property is prepared for installation.
The final stage brings everything together. Each element is delivered and installed with precision, allowing the home to emerge exactly as it was envisioned from the beginning.
